Regardless of the scale of catering you require, we can accommodate your needs while maintaining the quality and service you have grown to expect from the J.T. Daugherty Conference Center. Whether you would like us to deliver lunch for an office function or to cater an elegant multi-course, tented wedding reception, we are the people to call. The J.T. Daugherty Conference Center can cater nearly anywhere you wish, while providing virtually all the amenities we offer on-site at the Conference Center.
We will work closely with you to inspect the site, plan the menu for success and provide a memorable experience. Pricing for the event will be dependent on numerous factors, as each event is unique. Nevertheless, off-site catering has more expense than a comparable event held in the Conference Center. This is due in part to the increased amount of time, labor, transportation and rental associated with catering at a different location.
For a successful event, you must take into consideration every factor that may or may not work in your favor. We will assist you as much as possible so you can be comfortable and prepared.
A few such off-site considerations are: well-lit pathways and reception area, accessibility for emergency vehicles, slip resistant surfaces if damp, ample parking, prevention of insects or other wildlife, proper restrooms available to handle the attendance, electricity for kitchen equipment, entertainment, lights in/around the site, water availability, tent setup (irrigation or utilities to consider when setting up the tent), rain curtains/gutters on the tents, sun-setting patterns during the event, tents/vehicles to not be over the septic system, etc.
